Fr. Jenkins Leads ND Delegation to India, Bangladesh

In an effort to strengthen the University of Notre Dame’s academic engagement with South Asia, Rev. John I. Jenkins, C.S.C, president of the University, will travel to Delhi and Mumbai, India, in addition to Dhaka, Bangladesh during the first week of February.

Notre Dame to expand exchange with Chile’s Pontifical Catholic University

  Rev. John I. Jenkins, C.S.C., president of the University of Notre Dame, and Ignacio Sánchez Díaz, president of the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile(PUC), have signed a memorandum of understanding to strengthen scholarly engagement between their institutions, and to advance their mutual ambition to rank among the world’s greatest research universities.

Honorable Hao Ping, China’s vice minister for education, leads delegation to Notre Dame

  China’s Vice Minister for Education Hao Ping visited the Notre Dame campus on April 9 at the head of an official delegation of Chinese government and educational leaders.

Brazil Club Continues to Make Strides

   The ND Club of Brazil (NDCB) is now preparing for the next few years after club leaders worked to reenergize and reorganize a basically dormant group.

University Initiatives in Asia

   Notre Dame’s engagements in the region have received tremendous support from alumni, and this is an excellent opportunity to express the University’s gratitude and articulate a number of its ongoing international initiatives, especially in terms of how they relate to Asia.
